Gift of Time (2015)

My Gift of Time

For my gift of time,  I planned a donation for my favorite charity.

I made a sign saying: "Cookies & Carols; Spread some Christmas cheer! Book carols here now!".

I got help from my parents. My mom made the cookies with me. My dad played his C-Melody Saxophone to attract people. In the first hour, I sold 1 cookie and 1 carol. In the second hour, I sold 35 cookies and 14 carols. I raised $125. All the money will be donated to the Humane Society.

I am doubling what I earned to give to the Humane Society. I sang 2 carols on Monday for someone named Kelly with my brother and parents. We sang "Jingle Bells" and "Sleigh Ride". We also delivered cookies with the carol. Elodie's father even donated $20! I am happy to be spreading some Christmas cheer while helping poor dogs, cats, hamsters, and bunnies. Down below there will be photos of me with my parents and brother or me at my stand.
