My Gift of Time

For my gift of time,  I planned a donation for my favorite charity.

I made a sign saying: "Cookies & Carols; Spread some Christmas cheer! Book carols here now!".

I got help from my parents. My mom made the cookies with me. My dad played his C-Melody Saxophone to attract people. In the first hour, I sold 1 cookie and 1 carol. In the second hour, I sold 35 cookies and 14 carols. I raised $125. All the money will be donated to the Humane Society.

I am doubling what I earned to give to the Humane Society. I sang 2 carols on Monday for someone named Kelly with my brother and parents. We sang "Jingle Bells" and "Sleigh Ride". We also delivered cookies with the carol. Elodie's father even donated $20! I am happy to be spreading some Christmas cheer while helping poor dogs, cats, hamsters, and bunnies.              Hello !  Today I'm Showing you my Gift of Time! These are my new kittens Panda,Tiger, and Panther. They were adopted at Petco in San Jose. So, here's the story.
            One day when we were coming from gymnastics, our mom surprised us by driving us to Petco , and she tricked us that we were buying cat food, but we were actually going to look at the kittens and see if we were going to adopt one . And then, we saw Tiger & Panda ! But wait, you 're probably wondering where Panther comes in he comes later because he gets left behind. Anyways, we saw them and wanted to adopt them right away but, our dad wasn't with us so we had to wait. Finally, he came and said "Lets meet them before we adopt them. Okay?" so we agreed and waited to adopt them tomorrow because adopting had been closed for the night. The Following Morning, we came and adopted them and a day passed. Then, we woke up and played with them, Until my mom said somebody had adopted 1 other of the tabby brothers and left the black cat alone. My dad and I were furious so we came and adopted Panther, the black cat . When we got home, all of them started fighting for who was alpha , omega , and explorer. The battle came out like this :
                                                                                       Tiger : Alpha

               And then so, came today the day that I wrote my paragraph for my............................                                  GIFT OF TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                   

Pandas

Hello! Today I will talk to you about pandas. Pandas are animals that are black and white and eat bamboo. Bamboo is a lime-colored plant that is tall and strait. Anyways, in my opinion pandas are REALLY CUTE! But alas, they are also endangered. There's only about 1,862 left in the world and that's also why I'm writing this post. So, now you know why I called my blog the "The Panda Encyclopedia". So see you later!

Hello! Today I will talk to you about comments. Comments are things that you say or write about a noun (eg."I think you have a lot of buttons"). They can be bad or good. Like if you were mad with someone it could be a bad comment and if you were happy with someone you could say a good comment. But that's not it. Sometimes comments can be in the middle of good and bad. So, know you know about comments. See you later!

Coral

Hello! Did you know that there's plants that live under the ocean? Well, today I'm telling you about coral. Coral are underwater plants that are made out of tiny little animals called polyps. Polyps are about 1 or 2 millimeters. By the way, millimeters are tiny measurements that when you have a thousand of them it makes a meter. Occasionally, when you touch a coral it stings. It depends on the type of coral. Another thing about coral is that it can get diseases too. There's Black band disease, White band disease and a few other ones too, and coral is endangered because of lot of ships, and diseases so now you know about coral. See you later!

Cubic Root and Square Root (math)

Hello! Today I will tell you about square root and cubic root. Square Root is when you multiply the same number by itself (squared, or to the power of 2) and have a number, and then you take the number and say or write "the square root of ________ = _ "(eg. the square root of 4 = 2 because 2*2=4.) Cubic root is when you multiply a number 3 times, (to the power of 3) (eg. 2*2*2 = 8 because 2*2=4*2=8.) and have a number, and then say or write "the cubic root of ____ = ____ "(eg. the cubic root of 8 = 2 because 2*2*2=8. So now you know Cubic Root and Square Root. See you later!
